Staff News – Mark Russell, Barrister

We have pleasure in announcing the appointment of a new Partner to the firm, Mark Russell.

Mark went into legal practice in 1985 and was a partner in the Christchurch office of a prestigious national firm for 25 years before joining Canterbury Chambers in Christchurch as a commercial barrister at the beginning of 2015. Mark studied at Canterbury and Cambridge Universities before lecturing in company and banking law at the University of Canterbury for four years.

Mark specialises in construction, company, trust, banking, commercial and insolvency law and has expertise in a number of other corporate areas.

Mark lives locally and is enjoying meeting and working with people living in the greater North Canterbury community.
